Great news! Responsive images will be baked in to WordPress 4.4 "Clifford".WordPress will now automatically creates several sizes of each image that you upload to the media library. Using the 'srcset' attribute, browsers can now choose to display the most appropriate size and ignore the others— saving bandwidth and speeding up page load times in the process.
